Research
The pilot events carried out by Fieldlab Events resulted in a recommendation to the national government at the beginning of the summer of 2021. Based on the prevailing 'virus level' at the time (the Delta variant was dominant at that point in time) and the achievement of the primary goal for which Fieldlab Events was established (giving advice for measures that are both responsible and as workable as possible for the industry), in consultation with the sector, consideration has been given to possible follow-up research activities. This has led to a third phase of Fieldlab Events with COVID-related research. The focus is no longer on 'the issues of the day'. The goal is to generate knowledge that contributes in the long term to the virus safety of events and other 'live experiences'. With this in mind, the following three work packages have been defined.
New plans have been developed for these three packages. Research activities will be carried out around these plans and work packages in the period up to and including 31 December 2022.
